The Discrete Feedback Mandate
In a substrate with a finite grain size, energy transfer cannot be infinitely smooth. Resonant Relativity identifies Duality as the physical requirement for Quantized Feedback within the Lumen.
THE DETENT MANDATE
The universal substrate (Lumen) functions like a mechanical linkage with "detents." These detents are defined by the First Jerk (\(h\)). A wave (\(\Psi\)) can travel through the medium as a continuous displacement, but it can only Interact with another resonant structure in discrete steps.
The Engineering Reality: Duality is a Sampling Requirement. To "register" an event in a lumpy medium, you must cross the threshold of one "lump." This is the universe’s Schmidt Trigger.
The Discrete Signal Requirement
- Continuous Carrier: The underlying wave (\(\Psi\)) moving through the substrate.
- Discrete Report: The "Click" registered when the energy reaches the First Jerk threshold (\(h\)).
