REQUIREMENT: Zero-Point Energy (ZPE)
The Static Bias of the Lumen
Legacy physics views ZPE as a "background noise" of virtual particles. In Resonant Relativity, ZPE is the Primary Power Rail. It is the static, non-organized potential energy that maintains the Lumen's phase-state rigidity.
THE IDLE VOLTAGE MANDATE
You cannot have a resonant substrate with zero energy. To maintain Medium Elasticity (G) and Impedance (Z₀), the substrate must be pre-loaded. ZPE is the Bias Tension of the flux-lattice.
The Engineering Reality: The "Vacuum" is not a zero-state; it is a Full-State in equilibrium. We only perceive "Energy" when there is a Differential—a ripple or a vortex—above this baseline bias.
ZPE and the Entropy Balance
As established in the Entropy Balance Mandate, ZPE represents the Free Energy Pool.
- Recharging the Rail: When a resonant structure (star/galaxy) decays, its organized energy is dumped back into the ZPE "Pool."
- Drawing from the Rail: When local flux-tension hits the First Jerk threshold, it draws from the ZPE pool to "germinate" a new Yucca Vortex.
The Bias Potential:
\[ V_{\rm bias} \propto \sqrt{\frac{h \cdot c}{\lambda_{\rm cutoff}^4}} \]ZPE is the "Pre-load" that keeps the universal springs from going slack.
