General Relativity

The Architect of Spacetime Geometry and the Invariant Speed Limit

Abstract

Einstein’s General Relativity describes gravity as the curvature of a four-dimensional manifold called Spacetime. In this view, mass tells space how to curve, and space tells mass how to move.

\[ G_{\mu\nu} + \Lambda g_{\mu\nu} = \kappa T_{\mu\nu} \]

While this provides a perfect geometric shadow of gravitational behavior, it lacks a Causal Mechanism. It treats space as a mathematical surface rather than a physical substrate. By removing the medium (the Aether) and replacing it with "Geometry," Einstein turned physics into a branch of linguistics—describing the shape of the hole without acknowledging the dirt that was moved to make it.

The Einstein Dichotomy

Albert Einstein (1879–1955) transformed modern physics by challenging classical Newtonian absolutes, yet his solutions established a new dogma. By anchoring special and general relativity to the postulate that the speed of energy propagation remains invariant across all reference frames, he substituted physical mechanics with abstract Riemannian geometry. The universe was no longer viewed as a dynamic transmission circuit, but as a flexible fabric stretching under the weight of mass.

Einstein’s Postulates: A Declaration, Not a Proof

In his landmark 1905 papers, Einstein introduced Special Relativity by postulate. He asserted that light moves in a "stationary" system with a determined velocity \(c\), regardless of the source's motion.

“Any ray of light moves in the ‘stationary’ system of coordinates with the determined velocity \(c\)...”

There is no derivation. No physical explanation. No demonstration of necessity. It is a declaration that excludes alternative emission theories by fiat. By making \(c\) an invariant "speed limit" rather than a property of the medium, Einstein effectively turned the Magnetic Substrate invisible.

The Wrong Constant

The bold move of 1915 was necessary to move past Newton, but it introduced a fundamental delusion: the Invariance of Light Speed. By making \(c\) a universal constant, Einstein made the substrate "invisible." If the speed of energy is allowed to vary according to the local refractive index of the Lattice, gravity ceases to be a geometric mystery and becomes a simple Kinematic Refraction.

The Pound-Rebka Clue

The 1959 Pound-Rebka experiment serves as the "smoking gun" for this variable swap. The experiment measured a frequency shift (blueshift) as gamma rays traveled down a tower in a gravitational gradient.

Einstein interpreted this as Gravitational Time Dilation—the idea that the "clock" at the bottom of the tower ticks slower. However, the data can be interpreted with equal mathematical validity as a Change in the Speed of Energy. If the Lattice density (Impedance) is higher near a mass, the velocity of the wave must change:

\[ \Delta f = f \cdot \frac{g \Delta h}{c^2} \]

Pound-Rebka didn't measure "Time" warping; it measured Energy Resonance shifting. If the speed of energy changes, the frequency must shift to maintain the energy balance of the packet. Causal Mechanics keeps time absolute and recognizes that \(c\) is a local property of the medium.

Causal Reinterpretation

Einstein’s "Curvature" is actually a Lattice Gradient. A massive object does not "bend space"; it increases the local density of the substrate, which increases the Universal Reactance \( 1/\sqrt{\mu_0\varepsilon_0}\). As an energy packet (light or matter) enters this higher impedance zone, it slows down. This slowing—this Variable c—is what creates the path-bending we call gravity.

Gravity is not the warping of Time; it is the spatial variation of the Speed of Energy.

Einstein gave us the right coordinates, but he mapped them onto a ghost. Resonant Relativity puts the Lattice back under the coordinates, turning Relativity back into Mechanics.
